Options for June Poll Worker Training

March 22, 2010 - We are offering more learning options to our poll workers to fit their busy schedules - while at the same time enhancing our training. For the 2010 June Primary Election poll workers will have several options available to them (depending on their experience level). If a poll worker Clerk (those other than the poll site Inspector) has worked in any election (since and including the 2008 Presidential Election) they are eligible for our new comprehensive online training program. This program will offer a detailed online package, complete with tutorials, detailed graphics, videos and enhanced learning tools.

If they would prefer to attend an in-class training that feature is also available to them. In-class training is mandatory for our poll site Inspectors (those in charge of a poll site) and for those Clerks without the required experience. In addition, any of our poll workers will be able to take advantage of our numerous Poll Worker Practice Sessions (more on those to come). Training starts in early May 2010.
