Vote-by-Mail Voters and Sample BallotApril 22, 2010 - As we move closer to mailing the sample ballot for the June Primary Election we thought we would let voters know about permanent vote-by-mail voters and their sample ballots. If a voter is an individual who has signed up to receive a mail ballot every election (known as a "permanent" vote-by-mail voter) then they do not need to return an application for a ballot. Because it costs much less to produce a single cover we do not have a special cover for these voters. So this means that they will see an application on the back of their sample ballot for a mail ballot. What we will be doing, however, is printing a message on the name and signature portion of the application that says "Please note: Do not sign. Permanent vote-by-mail voters will receive ballots shortly".
