8,000 And Counting

May 13, 2010 - As of this evening we have received just short of 8,000 requests for one-time vote-by-mail ballots for the June 8th Primary Election. We process these requests quickly and generally have ballots in route within 48 hours or less. About 4,800 requests have come in via applications found on voters sample ballots, while 3,000 have come in through our online application. Some individuals who request vote-by-mail ballots online are not registered voters, which prevents a ballot from being issued. However, the majority are registered and enjoy the convenience of the online application.
