| The General Election Will Be Here Soon – Are You Ready? Voting for the November 3, 2026, General Election will open in 47 days. Not sure if your voter registration is up to date? Do you need to update your address, name, or political party? You can do all this and more at ocvote.gov/verify. If you’ve moved, you’re encouraged to update your address by Fri., Sept. 4, to ensure your ballot is mailed to the correct address. The last day to register to vote for this election is Mon., Oct. 19. Visit ocvote.gov/register to learn more. |

| Accurate Voter Rolls Support Election Integrity From January 1 through August 15, ROV has completed 417,850 transactions to update voter registration records. This is an average of more than 56,000 updates per month or more than 12,900 per week. Since January 1, 2021, we have canceled over 510,000 active and inactive voter registrations. Daily voter file maintenance work is vital to election integrity, and our efforts reflect that commitment. Voter registration records are updated daily based on information provided by voters and official government sources. Updates include new registrations, changes of address, selections of a political party preference, requests for election materials in a language other than English, and notifications that a voter has died. ROV also regularly compares voter roll information to databases maintained by third parties such as consumer credit reporting agencies, reviews voter registration files for potentially duplicate records, and encourages voters to re-register when we notice a change in their signatures. | Election Observation Schedule The public is invited to observe as ROV conducts the November 3, 2026, General Election. All ballot processing, counting, testing, and audits will take place at the Orange County Registrar of Voters Office, 1300 S. Grand Ave., Bldg. C, Santa Ana, CA 92705. The start dates for significant and daily election activities are posted and updated on an observation calendar at ocvote.gov/observe. Observers are also welcome to visit Vote Center and Ballot Drop Box locations throughout the county to observe daily operations. Ballot Drop Boxes will open on Mon., Oct. 5 and select Vote Centers open on Sat., Oct. 24. Visit ocvote.gov/voting to find a location near you. |
