April 15, 2025, City of Irvine Special Municipal Election (Council District 5) – Public Service Announcement

The Orange County Registrar of Voters is committed to protecting each voter’s right to cast a ballot easily and securely.

SANTA ANA, CA March 20, 2025 Voting in the April 15, 2025, City of Irvine Special Municipal Election (Council District 5) has begun.
Ballots
were mailed to all active registered voters in City of Irvine District 5 earlier this week.

Voters will have four options to cast a ballot during this election:

  1. Mail the ballot on or before Election Day (no postage required). For mailbox locations visit ocvote.gov/mail
  2. Use one of two secure drop boxes in City of Irvine District 5. For locations visit ocvote.gov/dropbox
  3. Drop off the ballot in-person at one of two Vote Centers in City of Irvine Council District 5. For location information and hours visit ocvote.gov/votecenter
  4. Vote in-person at one of two Vote Centers in City of Irvine District 5.

The Registrar of Voters office in Santa Ana also has a ballot drop box and is available for all voter services for City of Irvine District 5 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Visit ocvote.gov/about for more information.

Starting Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Vote Center at Irvine City Hall will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 11, 2025. Starting Saturday, April 12, 2025, through April 14, 2025, the Vote Centers at Irvine City Hall and University Park Community Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Election Day, both Vote Centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
