Orange County, CA Registrar of Voters Invites the Public to Get Involved in the 2025 Election Administration Plan (EAP) Update

The Orange County Registrar of Voters will host a series of Public Workshops starting in July 2025; information about the workshops and additional opportunities to participate are posted on an updated EAP webpage.

SANTA ANA, CA – June 24, 2025 – The Orange County Registrar of Voters is seeking input from the public on key areas of the EAP as it prepares to review and update the current 2021-2025 Final Election Administration Plan.

The EAP is the guiding document for how voting in elections is administered under the Voter’s Choice Act (VCA). It addresses the Registrar of Voters’ voter education and outreach program, operation of Vote Centers and Ballot Drop Boxes, provision of language and accessibility services, security measures, and contingency plans.

Members of the public interested in providing feedback on these topics have several ways to provide their input. Details about all of the following opportunities have been posted on an updated EAP webpage that was launched this week. Visit ocvote.gov/eap.

  • Attend a Public Workshop: From Saturday, July 12 to Saturday, August 2, the Registrar of Voters will host a series of 15 Public Workshops throughout Orange County. Workshop dates, times and locations are available on the Get Involved page. Language assistance will be available at select workshops – please check the list of all workshops for more information. If you require accommodations at a workshop you plan on attending, please call 714-567-5039 at least four business days in advance.
  • Request a Small Group Meeting: Members of public who are part of a community organization can use the Meeting Request Form to request a meeting with staff from the Registrar of Voters to discuss the current EAP and provide feedback. Meetings are available in-person or on a virtual platform for groups of one to 10 persons.
  • Use the online Public Input Form to submit feedback: The Public Input Form allows the public to provide their feedback to the Orange County Registrar of Voters regarding specific areas covered in the EAP.
  • Join the Interested Parties Email List: Sign up for the Registrar of Voters’ Interested Parties email list to receive updates including community meeting announcements regarding the EAP Update.

The Voter’s Choice Act mandates a review of the County’s Election Administration Plan in 2025 and submission of any Plan amendments to the California Secretary of State for approval no later than February 2, 2026.
