Observation Schedule for March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election
SANTA ANA, CA – January 22, 2024 – The public is invited to observe as the Orange County Registrar of Voters conducts the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election. All ballot processing, counting, testing and audits will take place at the Orange County Registrar of Voters Office 1300 S Grand Ave. Santa Ana, CA 92705. Observers are also welcome to visit Vote Center and ballot drop box locations throughout the county to observe daily operations.
Any qualified person, other than the incumbent, can now file nomination papers and pay the filing fee until December 13, 2023, 5 p.m.
SANTA ANA, CA – December 9, 2023, at 10:00am – The Secretary of State has announced that the nomination period has been extended until 5 p.m. on December 13, 2023, for the federal and state offices listed below that represent Orange County voters because the eligible incumbents failed to file Nomination Papers by the 5 p.m. December 8, 2023 deadline.
Prior to certifying the results, Registrar of Voters conducted several post-election voting system tests and audits.

SANTA ANA, CA – November 10, 2023 – Starting on Monday, November 13, 2023, those interested in running for federal, state and county offices up for election in the 2024 Presidential Primary Election can begin the candidate filing process online or at the Registrar of Voters office.

SANTA ANA, CA - October 20, 2023 – Registrar of Voters Bob Page today certified the results of the October 3, 2023 City of Anaheim Special Municipal Election.
On the sole question of Measure A – City of Anaheim, Hotel and Event Center Minimum Wage, Worker Retention, and Hotel Worker Safety and Workload Initiative Ordinance, the No votes totaled 23,210 and the Yes votes totaled 11,809.
